LAKESIDE VIEW
THINGS TO DO
In the fall, some say that the fishing is the best, but for those of you who like to hunt or hike, the public
land is just across the street, and continues North and East where you can roam the 800,000 acre
Chequamegon National Forest in pursuit of Whitetails, Bear, Grouse, Waterfowl, and other small game.
Biking is a fun family activity that is enjoyed by many around the lake, and with about a mile ride you can
be at the County Park on Solberg Lake which has an excellent beach, playground facilities, grills, and a
free public boat landing. In the winter, there are over 500 miles of meticulously groomed snowmobile
trails in Price County which is considered one of the premiere snowmobile areas in Wisconsin. The
property has direct access to 3 of the local snowmobile club trails. You can also Cross Country ski on
any of at least 9 different trails in the County.
